I grew up in Pass Christian and didn’t hear of the Hall, but I knew there were places like it around. I remember seeing flyers for Irma Thomas playing and I had heard her on the radio, but back then I wouldn’t have thought to come here. I would now, but back then things were different, society was more stratified.
