Gulf Coast Veterans Associations' goal is to make the U.S. Veteran part of the world again. Many of our Veterans feel isolated, out of place and undeserving to re-enter civilian life. We want them to know that they are not alone. It is our hope that by offering Veterans a sense of brotherhood, they will realize a new standing of value and self-worth. Through social gatherings, we want to show them that what happened in the battles was part of the fight for Freedom, and they are not to blame for anything that is haunting them. By sharing experiences with those that can understand without judging, we hope to boost morale.

Crittenden Distillery - $20  5-6PM
Whiskey tasting with Matt Crittenden from Crittenden Distillery, including the sought after finished Cut Above series: Hancock County and especially Kiln, MS has long been a hot bed of whiskey production. Father and Son team, James and Matt Crittenden, decided it was time for them to set up their own still in Kiln, MS. Familiar with the romance of making whiskey and the heart break of being caught without a license, Matt leveraged his legal background to make legal whiskey. The  distillery began producing whiskey at their new facility in 2017. Crittenden Distillery starts with whole grains, cold deep well water, then we mash, ferment, distill, age and bottle all in Kiln, and prides itself on quality production and sourcing locally.

Oyster Tasting - $20  6-7PM
Try a variety of locally sourced oysters in the prime of shucking season during our oyster happy hour from 6-7PM. Freshly shucked, salty Gulf Oysters with cocktail sauce and red wine mignonette. Oysters and an accompaniment of fixings will be provided, eat them until they are all gone!
