The Black community in Bay Saint Louis, MS that organized in 1894 to create the Hundred Members Debating Benevolent Association - the federal 501c3 nonprofit that is still operating today for the preservation and maintenance of the 100 Men Hall - knew that music is a spiritual tool used to overcome dark forces. It is the reason today the 100 Men Hall continues the sacred act of hosting live music on its historical stage.
